基督徒的生活及其苦難（五）

讀經：

彼得前書三章七至十三節。

我們在前面的信息中看過彼前三章一至六節，彼得對作妻子的論到婚姻生活的話。在一節彼得指明，作家僕的怎樣服從主人，作妻子的也該照樣服從自己的丈夫。然後在三至四節彼得指出，在神面前極有價值的，乃是以溫柔安靜的靈，就是心中隱藏的人為妝飾。現在讓我們接著看彼得對作丈夫的所說的話。

彼得前書三章一至六節。

基督的五方面

彼前二章十八至二十五節裡有五件重要的事，就是基督的五方面：恩典、榜樣、救主、牧人和監督。基督是我們裡面的恩典，祂也是作我們屬靈方向的榜樣。不但如此，基督也是我們的救主、牧人和監督。祂拯救我們，牧養我們，並且照顧我們，因而成就與我們有關的三重工作。我們都需要基督為我們所作這恩典三重的工作。我們需要祂的拯救、牧養和監督。

在生命裡得救脫離個人主義

在羅馬書裡，保羅論到我們需要得救脫離的七件消極的事。

第一項是罪的律。在我們的肉體，我們墮落的身體裡，罪的律自然並自動的作工。這罪的律乃是在我們裡面自然運行的邪惡能力。

第二個消極的項目是世俗。我們都生在世俗的環境裡，然後被培育成為世俗的。世俗就在我們這人裡面；因此，世俗也是一件主觀的事，是我們構成的事。我們不需要教導孩子愛世界，因為在他的性情裡就有個使他愛世界的東西。愛世界是我們墮落構成的元素。

第三項是天然。我們都有天然的生命和天然的個性。我們的構成是天然的。這一切天然的元素都是神的仇敵。神與我們天然的人、天然的生命、天然的力量、天然的個性、或天然的能力無分無關。這些天然的元素在我們這人裡面深處，比罪的律深得多。罪的律主要與我們的肉體有關，但我們天然的人是我們的己。為著神定旨的緣故，我們需要在基督的生命裡得救脫離我們的天然。

青年人，你們每天的時間表要這樣安排：

Young people, 

Arrange your daily schedule in this way: 

seven and a half hours (7 1/2) for sleep, 

one and a half hours (1 1/2) for eating, 

one hour (1) for exercise, 

eight hours (8) for study, 

and six hours (6) for spiritual things. 

教育

我鼓勵年輕人都去得學位。
不要以屬靈為不讀書的藉口，反倒要比世俗的學生更勤奮，
得著最高的成績，獲得更高的學位。

Education

I encourage all the young people to get a college degree. 
Do not make spirituality an excuse for not studying. 
Rather, study more diligently than the secular students, 
get the highest grades, and go on for advanced degrees.

Our life is governed by certain fundamental decisions 
that we make in the course of our human life. 
One of the most important decisions we’ll ever make 
is whether or not to live for the will of God. 

學習如何「聽話」

神的兒女也該學習認識，甚麼種的話是可以聽的，甚麼種的話是不可以聽的。
有哪些話能聽，有哪些話不能聽呢？

不說閒話、惡言

“善人从他心里所存的善，就发出善来；恶人从他心里所存的恶，就发出恶来。
我又告诉你们，凡人所说的闲话，当审判的日子，必要句句供出来。
因为要凭你的话，定你为义，也要凭你的话，定你有罪。”
（马太十二章三十五至三十七节）

主耶稣说，
“你们或以为树好，果子也好；树坏，果子也坏；因为看果子，就可以知道树。”
（马太十二章三十三节）

必须对付謊言（謊言來自撒旦）

在聖經裡，有四、五個地方告訴我們當怎樣說話。

撒旦的說謊是出乎他自己，因為他本來是說謊的；
今天他是作一切說謊之人的父。

撒但手下有多少人，就有多少人在世界替他說謊。

他需要謊言來建立他的國，他需要謊言來推翻神的工作。

學作誠實的人（作神话話語的執事）

人的言語，是人生活中一個很大的部分，也是一個很要緊的部分；

主耶穌對我們說，人心裡所充滿的，口裡就說出來。（太十二34。）

所以人的言語乃是表明他的心，乃是表明他心裡有甚麼東西。

人的行為不容易代表人，人的言語很容易代表人。

"We must realize that for serving the Lord, preaching the gospel, overseeing the church, and saving souls, 

a proper human character is the topmost requirement."

Everyone is A Priest

"We should first establish the principle that all of God's children are priests who should serve God."

"Put yourself into the work and also encourage others to participate. You need to labor until the day comes when all the brothers and sisters come forth to serve, all the saints participate, everyone serves God, and everyone is a priest. Then you will truly see what the church is."

"I always expect that every brother and sister will bear the burden in practical affairs. Never let a situation exist where some having things to do and others are doing nothing. The service of the church is always for everyone."

"You have to be clear before God about this principle that all the brothers and sisters must have spiritual service as well as practical service. ...When all the brothers come and serve together, the church in that locality will have a foundation. When others see this, they will know the church is in our midst. Everyone works, everyone shares in the practical affairs and everyone participates in the spiritual things."

Serving the Lord
